Networked Publics

Individual Project

Networked Publics is an interactive, multiplayer tool designed to empower communities in shaping public spaces. Through its engaging, gamified approach, participants collaborate in prompt-driven planning activities, leveraging real-world maps to design and visualize changes in shared spaces. The platform features server-hosted multiplayer rooms, allowing users to communicate seamlessly while placing assets directly onto designated spaces. The project’s primary goal is to foster meaningful community participation in public planning and local governance. By bridging the gap between citizens and policymakers, Networked Publics provides actionable stakeholder feedback to government representatives, enabling more inclusive and informed urban development decisions.
