'Toy, Time!' is a project from my undergraduate Senior Honors Thesis, Frolic Pedagogy in a Post-Fröbel Era, to research the foundations of entertainment technologies. The thesis explores the fundamentals of constructivism and how simple material activities can be assembled to teach on complex subjects in both formal and informal learning environments. 'Toy, Time' is a product of one of these activities I developed to observe (1) how rapidly a substantive learning experience for children could be created in-home by adults, (2) how competitor analysis and the design of the clock could lead to children's learner autonomy, and (3) how the outcomes from user tests could inform enhancements to the prototype.
