NOKIA
Company: Nokia
Project: Healthcare Security Platform
Role: Interaction Designer (UX Research, Experience Design, UI Design, Stakeholder Check-Ins)
During my time at Nokia, our team investigated IoT vulnerabilities in the healthcare system and various methods of attack entry. Based on primary and secondary research, I worked under the Digital Portfolio Enablement team to design an end-to-end cybersecurity platform that enables security managers to quickly oversee and stop major network/device threats. Due to a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), I am unable to provide specific details on the project but can provide a broad overview of the platform as approved by my Product Lead.
Above is my final iteration of the network overview screen which tracks all of the hospitals that are safe, vulnerable to attack, and at urgent risk. The page seen is 1/15 high-fidelity screens that I designed. The intent of the platform is to track IoT devices connected to hospitals (ambulances, medical devices, etc.), identify vulnerabilities and attacks, and launch a security playbook that secures the system. The final product was a result of a five-day design sprint and a month-long refinement phase including check-ins with internal subject-matter experts. The final POC was part of Nokia's 2021 demo.
